Theme: Healthy Earth Healthy People
The event focuses on creative and innovative solutions with an intent to solve problems related to futuristic cities and their citizens. The problem statements are curated to achieve Sustainable Development Goals as laid out by the United Nations.
Background and Rationale: The technological advancements have led to rapid human progress.
Somewhere in that progress, sustainable development was lost, which had an adverse impact on the environment. This led to the formulation of SDGs by the United Nations. Keeping up with the same tempo, the current ideathon is an attempt to develop innovative ideas to solve problems related to these SDGs.
Objectives
Promote the sustainable innovation ideas aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to drive environmental-friendly and impactful solutions.
Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration to leverage complementary expertise, generate holistic solutions, and tackle complex real-world challenges.
Build an Al-ready talent ecosystem to prepare a new generation of innovators for the intelligent application of Al in industry and research.
Foster innovation and develop creative and practical solutions to solve problems related to futuristic cities.
Cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills among participants by challenging them with real-world urban issues.
Strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing among participants to foster teamwork, exchange of ideas, and problem-solving.
Raise awareness of urban and environmental challenges and the impact of innovative solutions on citizens' quality of life
