"Tech for Truth: Al in Criminal Investigations and Beyond", organised by the University Institute of Allied Health Sciences (UIAHS), is a multidisciplinary forensic competition under Innovfest 2026. The event is designed to simulate real-world forensic workflows through a progressive, stage-wise competition covering forensic photography, crime scene investigation, laboratory analysis, and court-oriented reporting.
By integrating technology, scientific reasoning, and legal perspectives, the competition provides participants with hands-on exposure to modern forensic investigation practices while encouraging collaboration between forensic science and law disciplines.
Objectives
To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical forensic application.
To enhance analytical thinking, evidence interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
To develop scientific and courtroom-oriented documentation and presentation abilities.
To promote interdisciplinary collaboration between forensic science and law students.
To foster innovation, professionalism, and real-world investigative competence.
